2013 Michigan VS Canada Border Wars Challenge

The 1st Annual Michigan vs Canada Border Wars Challenge will be held at Bald Mountain Shooting Range in Lake Orion, MI September 14th and 15th 2013.

It will feature two separate 100 target sporting clays events on two distinct courses, a 50 target  FITASC event, and a 50 target 5-stand event.  Targets will be set by Michigan Shooting Centre's owner Pat Lieske and staff.

 

The Border Wars Challenge will suffice of the combined totals on the two 100 target sporting clays events, for a total of 200 targets.  Both Michigan and Canada will field a 5 man team based on the following results:

Highest Michigander/Canadian Master Class Shooter

2nd Michigander/Canadian Highest Master Class Shooter

Highest Michigander/Canadian AA Class Shooter

Highest Michigander/Canadian A/B Class Shooter

Highest Michigander/Canadian C/D/E Class Shooter

 

The highest team score (out of 1000 targets) will win the honor of Border Wars Champion.  A "perpetual plaque"  will recognize the Border Wars winning team for years to come.
